Due to the solid appearance and high durability, bricks, stuccos, and other brickwork materials make tremendously well-liked home siding materials. More than a few types of masonry siding materials exist, but by far the most common are brick and stone veneers, traditional cement-based stucco, and newer stucco-like polymer finishes called EIFS, which is short for Exterior Insulation Finishing System. Bricks, like most people think of it, are one of the most durable siding materials. Unlike wood and steel, it does not have to be painted since it already consist of its own aesthetics, does not rot nor fade, and sit out attractively. Thin brick panels siding are typically applied to a wood-framed wall on top of building paper. The bricks are held in place with mortar, a fusion of cement, lime, sand, and water. The mortar that holds the bricks collectively can be finished, or tooled, in quite a number of different ways, including flush with the bricks, concave, raked, extruded between the bricks, or V-joined. With this, of course the installation has to be done by a professional in order to get the maximum quality of a brick wall siding, since building a wall, in general, has to be done with precision to make sure that it will be safe.
